One of 500 numbered copies. In celebration of Eudora Welty's 90th birthday, the University Press of Mississippi reprinted Welty's first published story, Death of a Traveling Salesman, in this limited edition. The book includes two black-and-white photographs and an essay by Welty.

The book is bound cloth and wears a decorative dust jacket. Near fine. The front top-right corner board is bumped and there is a trace of very modest water stains in inconspicuous places. Still a lovely copy.
