She currently serves as the director of The Weekday Preschool at Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson, MS. She's an Active Board Member of the Mississippi Early Childhood Association on Children Under Six and is a trainer for early educators and co-owner of the Early Education Dream Center offering quality training for staff engaged in early education. Wife to Hardy Harris, mother to Sam and Jack Harris, and grandmother to Bo, Charlie, and Cate, Doodle the Deer is Terre Harris' first children's book.
