The author, Jason Garbo, grew up in central Mississippi and currently resides in south Louisiana along with his wife, son, and daughter. Garbo has served the public for over 17 years in law enforcement, with over ten years spent in the special operations community, where he served on state and federal SRT and SWAT teams. He is currently still employed in the public sector. His first novel, Hammerhead, and his second, Kobold, have been touted for Garbo's attention to detail, immersing the reader within the novel.
