Description
Oxford, MS: University of Mississippi Libraries (1994)
Limited Edition. Signed. Fine.
This copy is one of 100 numbered and signed copies by John Grisham.
Grisham An Exhibition
is a companion booklet to the 1994 exhibition celebrating three aspects of John Grisham's career: his first novel A Time to Kill; a display of foreign editions and their dust jacket art; and a display of the transcript and other materials used in the filming of The Firm.
The exhibition was directed by archivist Thomas M. Verich at the University of Mississippi and in conjunction with the Oxford Conference of the Book. The booklet catalogs items on display at the exhibition but also includes commentary from Richard Howorth, Willie Morris, and Anne Rapp on Grisham's explosive career.
The anecdotes and perspectives on Grisham's career make this booklet a unique piece for a collector's library. Five hundred copies of the 28-page booklet were printed. One hundred of these were numbered and signed by John Grisham.
