Oh, sugar, life in the South isn't just lived-it's savored, steeped, and strung together like a necklace of cherished memories and hard-earned truths. In Pearls of Wisdom, Southern belle, Julie Hollingsworth invites you to take a seat on the porch and discover how life's ordinary days can become extraordinary conversations with the Father, the One who weaves His grace into every twist and turn of our journey.
Drawing from her own life-full of sweet tea moments, church potlucks, and the unshakable wisdom of a faith-filled grandmother-Julie shows how each experience becomes a pearl, polished by trials, triumphs, and God's guiding hand. These pearls aren't perfect, darlin'-they're costly, formed through life's grit and grace-but strung together, they create a beautiful testimony to the Father's love and presence in the everyday.
With wit, charm, and a heart rooted deeply in faith, Julie invites you to savor these stories and lessons, seeing how God takes life's imperfections and turns them into something precious. Because, just like a string of pearls, our lives are bound together by His wisdom, His love, and the beauty of trusting Him in all things. So come on in, kick off your shoes, and let's find the extraordinary in the ordinary together.
Julie Hollingsworth is a Southern belle with a sharp wit, a Bible full of scripture, and just enough sass to keep things interesting. Born and raised in Mississippi, with a good dose of Louisiana and Tennessee along the way, Julie spent twenty-five years wrangling corporate marketing, communications, and strategy. But her true passion lies in sharing the timeless pearls of wisdom found in God’s Word.
When she’s not teaching Bible studies, speaking at women’s conferences, or crafting stories from the sweet (and sometimes sassy) moments of everyday life, you’ll find Julie knee-deep in her flower beds, exploring the South with her daughter, or wrangling her four playful Labrador retrievers, who think they’re part of the family, of course.
Julie has earned over fifty national and local marketing awards, including the prestigious Marketing Professional of the Year title from both the Memphis Advertising Federation and the Mississippi Hospital Association. But her proudest achievement came when she was crowned Mom of the Year by her daughter on a surprise Christian-based radio show in Louisiana. That’s a crown she wears proudly.
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Delta State University and training in Inductive Bible Study from Precept Ministries International, Julie is here to share a little joy, a lot of love, and, of course, plenty of Southern grace served up with a side of sweet tea and a whole lot of heart.
